Our Horse Philosophy
 There is no way to state strongly enough the contributions made by our working horses. They are just that, working horses.
They have a special mission and often they seem to know it. We humbly acknowledge our reliance on our gentle partners and see our
caretaking as an expression of that gratitude and love. We realize that the strength of our program is forever connected with the willing hearts and gentle spirits contributed by our horses.
 Every horse being considered for our program is brought to the Center for a minimum 30 day assessment. This allows the horse or pony to have a period of adjustment to our routines and expectations.
We look for quietness and a kind, loving eye; a horse who likes being with people, who has a willingness to serve. Unfortunately because we are a not for profit facility with limited resources certain physical conditions would eliminate a horse from consideration.
