Find healing and strength in one of two ways:
Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP)
This approach is ground-based with no riding and creates an emotionally and physically safe environment where horses and clients are free to interact. Horses are instinctively sensitive and deeply emotional beings who serve in sessions as a 1,200lb live biofeedback machine. They give immediate feedback to client and therapist to increase the frequency and depth of breakthroughs.

Mental Health Professional, Courage Reins
"Peace is the result of retraining your mind to process life as it is, rather than as you think it should be." -Wayne W. Dyer
You've tried so hard to solve the problems you face. You've thought through them a hundred times, but your mind still tries for a hundred and one. It's exhausting and overwhelming. Or perhaps you have been plagued by the aftershocks of a trauma and your mind keeps trying to protect you in ways that are unhelpful. You want to get back to feeling like yourself and living your life.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Director of Mental Health at Courage Reins. I enjoy working with people who struggle to set boundaries, who have lost their sense of self, and who are exhausted trying to maintain control. I also specialize in treating trauma. I am passionate about using Equine Assisted Psychotherapy to help people improve mindfulness, reduce fight-or-flight responses, and metaphorically rewrite the stories that keep them stuck. I also specialize in Internal Family Systems (IFS), a powerful treatment specifically designed to improve self-compassion and regain your inner confidence and sense of self.

"Be yourself. Everyone else is taken." - Oscar Wilde
Do you ever feel overwhelmed by the complexities of life, leaving you emotionally drained and unsure of how to move forward? Healing is rarely a straightforward process—it can be messy, unpredictable, and sometimes feels like taking steps backward. Yet, even in those moments of feeling stuck, growth is happening. Progress isn’t about perfection or quick fixes; it’s about showing up for yourself, whether that means pausing to rest, taking a deep breath, or simply being present. True healing requires vulnerability and a safe space where you can be yourself. As a therapist, I am here to support you as you navigate this journey and discover a life you truly love that includes the downs, as life keeps flowing naturally.
As an ACMHC, I am deeply committed to supporting individuals of all ages as they navigate the challenges of depression, anxiety, and trauma. My approach is centered on creating a safe and nurturing environment where clients can heal, grow, and reconnect with their inner strength. I work to empower individuals to develop practical tools and coping strategies, enabling them to better manage their emotions, thoughts, and the stressors of everyday life.
I specialize in guiding clients through life’s most difficult transitions, including grief and loss, divorce, PTSD, and the lasting impact of significant challenges. Whether you’re grappling with major changes or feeling stuck in the weight of daily struggles, I am here to support you. Together, we’ll build resilience, foster self-compassion, and help you move toward a more balanced, fulfilling, and meaningful life.

Clinical Social Worker, Courage Reins
"The good life is a process, not a state of being. It's a direction, not a destination." -Carl Rogers
I work as a clinical social worker. I love helping individuals who have faced trauma, childhood abuse, sexual assault, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, low self-esteem, perfectionism, relationship distress, and more.
As a social worker, I bring a compassionate and nurturing approach to therapy, prioritizing your well-being and growth. With a focus on warmth, empathy, and acceptance, I create a safe space where you can explore challenges and embark on a journey of healing in an experiential therapy experience.
Outside of my professional work, I enjoy an active and enriching lifestyle. I love riding horses, hiking, kayaking, thrift shopping, and being around animals. My passion for travel and adventure is balanced by quality time spent with my husband and our beloved dog.
